system requirements

Before you start working with easyceph®, please check the system requirements:



    • Windows Systems

      WorkStations: Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows Vista, Windows 10. Servers: Windows 2008, Windows 2012.

      Web Browsers on Windows that we know support our software include: Mozilla Firefox 4.0 (and above), Microsoft Edge , Google Chrome, Opera 7.5 (and above), Safari, Microsoft Internet Explorer 11 (and above).

    • Mac Systems

      Mac OS X 10.7.5 and above.

      Web Browsers: Mozilla Firefox 4.0 (and above), Apple's Safari, Opera V 15.0 (and above) and Google Chrome supports our system. Other browsers that support the Java version 8 update 141 (and above) should work.

    • Linux Systems

      Kernel version 2.6.x and above.

      Mozilla Firefox 4.0 (and above). Other browsers that support the Java version 8 update 141 (and above) should work.

    • Java Software

      Windows Systems: You can use this link Java software to download Java Version 8 update 191 from Easyceph site or you can visit Java Download Center to download Java Version 8 update 141 or higher.

      Mac Systems: MAC´s users please download and install this Java Version. For operating system below macOS Mojave please do not forget to read this installation note. .

    • Hardware Requirements

      Any reasonably modern computer should be able to run our software. If you computer was made in the last 5 years it probably can run our software, although as always the newer computer is then the better the experience will probably be.

      A screen resolution of at least 1024 x 768 pixels is recommended.
